Cockroach
Gel

CONTROZ Cockroach Gel is built for one job: eliminating the colony, not just the roaches you see. Cockroaches feed on the bait and carry it back to the nest, spreading the effect to the ones hiding in walls and cabinets. Odorless, non-staining, precise.

Secondary kill

Feeding roaches carry the gel back to the harbourage and spread it through the colony — reaching the roaches you never see.

Overnight results

Roaches feed at night — the first results show by morning.

The active

Why fipronil.

Most household baits still run boric acid — the same active that has been used for decades. We source and test instead of settling: fipronil at 0.05%, in a bait matrix optimised to be highly attractive to cockroaches, with reusable bait stations included.

CONTROZ — fipronil 0.05%
  • Works at a fraction of a percent — a low dose does the job.
  • Undetectable to the pest — non-repellent, so they keep feeding.
  • Kills by ingestion and contact — two routes, not one.
  • Strong secondary kill — spreads through the colony after feeding.
  • Delayed by design — slow enough to reach the nest, then decisive.
Typical baits — boric acid
  • Needs much higher concentrations to work.
  • Can be detected and avoided in poorly made baits.
  • Works by ingestion only.
  • Weak transfer — mostly kills the individual that ate it.
  • Slow — often needs repeated feeding over days.

The active is only half the formula. We also optimise the bait matrix to be highly attractive to cockroaches — the more of the colony that feeds, the harder the secondary kill works.

The mechanism

How secondary kill works.

Cockroaches spread it passively — the effect moves through the nest as roaches feed and cluster together.

01 · One roach feeds

A roach eats the gel and returns to the harbourage.

02 · Others pick it up

Roaches feed on contaminated droppings and dead roaches, and pick up the active by contact.

03 · The colony follows

The effect spreads through the nest — even to roaches that never touched the gel.

How to use

Apply once.
Let it spread.

Uncap the tube

Remove the cap from the applicator nozzle.

Apply at hotspots

3–5 pea-sized drops at each area where you see cockroaches — and anywhere you think they’re coming from: cracks, under sinks, behind appliances.

Leave it alone

Don’t spray or wipe near the drops — the bait must stay attractive to every roach that passes.

Top up as eaten

Check every few days and re-apply where drops have been eaten — that means it’s working.

Up close

Every angle.

Questions & answers

FAQ.

Can I use it in my kitchen?+
Yes — it’s suitable for food-handling establishments, a higher bar than a home kitchen. Apply in cracks and corners away from food-contact surfaces.
Will it smell or stain my cabinets?+
No. The gel is odorless and non-staining.
How does one tube handle roaches I never see?+
Secondary kill: roaches that feed on the gel return to the harbourage and spread the effect to the colony — including roaches that never leave the nest.
How fast does it work?+
Overnight. Roaches feed at night, so the first results usually show by morning. Keep drops topped up until activity stops.
What’s actually in it?+
Fipronil 0.05%, carried in a bait matrix roaches find highly attractive. Read and follow the label, and keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Which cockroaches does it work on?+
German and American cockroaches — the small fast ones in kitchens, and the large ones from drains.
